Writer's Block or Temporary Amnesia

When i first came across the word "Writer's Block", it was a strange concept and  i couldn't visualize how it kept a writer function-less and without his/her creative might to perform the wonders they do with words.
You would appreciate the words of writers when you get to read how tenderly & passionately  they put words to print, bringing to life a story that could enliven the universe.
When you read titles authored by Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, Leo Tolstoy, Stephen King, J.R.R Tolkien and J.K Rowling to mention but a few, you can't help but marvel at how they do it except you are not literate ofcourse, but each and everyone of them at a point or the other, experienced writer's block.
Its not like they don't know what to write or how to write again, but more of the fact that they cant express themselves or worse put those thoughts to paper.
i would rather call it the inability of the writer to put properly the sequence of their thoughts and bring such words to life in a way that would captivate the reader and keep his interest till the story comes to its conclusion.
On the other hand, is amnesia; which simply means that you forgot about it. it is very different from writer's block.
Finally, is utter laziness; you just don't want to bother about getting it done.
I've been contemplating between the second and last of them; which of them has been tormenting me lately. It is definitely not writer's block, it could be amnesia (my short-term memory is really bad) i could just forget about something or an event and no matter how much am reminded, it wouldn't come back except if there is video evidence obviously. it is really difficult to refute a video footage especially if it has audio to it.
I have toyed slightly with the idea that maybe i was on Auto-Pilot on those phases or Day-sleepwalking but its really not possible to be in that state, get so much done and have no inkling to it all.
If i was in a developed country, i'd be the perfect candidate for a novel experiment on reversing the effect of and curing Alzheimer or i could just commit all the crimes i want to (maybe just one great felony) and simply feign innocence, get a doctor to term me a psych-case which would get me a free "Get out of Jail" card. i may even live the rest of my life in a government facility under the sponsorship of the government at a cost to the taxpayers.
Alas, in my country (just like in Sparta of old) if you are found incapable and unworthy, you are pushed to the edge and thrown off the cliff. it is better to hide your flaws and strife to fit in at whatever cost.
Am not alone in the bid to fit in, the remaining 160 million of my fellow countrymen are doing the same. it can be verified firsthand from the cries of anguish and the strife they go through daily, just to put food in their bellies (gone are the days when the food got to the tables first).
